World War II Prisoners of War Data File, 12/7/1941 - 11/19/1946
Note: The National Archives POW Data File for 1 SG Boston indicates 'Wyoming' as his State of Residence and the American Battle Monuments Commission website list that he entered the service from 'Nebraska'. However, his Army Serial Number Merged File, list the 'Residence-State' as 'South Dakota’, his 'Native State' as 'Kansas', and Place of Enlistment as 'Raeford North Carolina'. The different data could indicate that his next-of-kin was residing in Wyoming at time of notification and resulted in his name being added to the Wyoming WWII Honor Roll instead of the South Dakota, Kansas, or Nebraska WWII Honor Roll.
