His brother, SSG Victor Lund, US Army, 40th Infantry Div, was Killed In Action on Luzon, June 12, 1945.

B. At the time MG Lund was Killed In Action the 2nd Marine Division was conducting combat operations on Guadalcanal during January 1943.
