Son of William Henderson Bowlby - 1897-1973 and Beatrice May Sands Bowlby - 1898-1984

He entered the United States Navy on August 15, 1939 from
Seattle Washington, and his loss is recorded in the
State Summary of War Casualties, State of Washington, page 3,
published by the U.S. Navy, 1946.
