PVT Robert H. Cressey was born October 25, 1924 in Tacoma, Washington
Son of Harry T. and Louise M. Gallow Cressey.

Robert married Katherine Pixley Cressey (Polk) in Sebastian County, Arkansas on October 1, 1943.

There were no records found that Robert and Katherine had children.

He was inducted into the US Army from Pierce County, Washington,
Enlisting in Seattle on April 22, 1943.

His loss is recorded in the
Washington World War II Honor List of Dead and Missing, page 13, Pierce County,
published by the War Department in June 1946.

C. Hospital Admission Records indicate that PVT Cressey died during December 1944 as a result of an unknown combat wounds.
