Son of Basil Marion Craig and Emma E. Workman Craig.
Benjamin attended Lincoln High School in Tacoma and graduated with the class of 1930.
His photo is found on page 17, in the Lincolnian Yearbook.
There were no records found that would indicate Benjamin Craig was married or had children.
He voluntarily enlisted into the US Army from Pierce County, Washington,
Enlisting in Portland Oregon on September 15, 1942.
His loss is recorded in the
Washington World War II Honor List of Dead and Missing,
page 13, Pierce County,
published by the War Department in June 1946.

B. His Find-A-Grave listing states that he was killed in the crash of B-26C Bomber, ten miles northwest of Oden, Arkansas.
C. His Arkansas Death Certificate indicates that CPL Craig was "Dead on admission" and died as a result of an "Airplane crash" on March 11, 1944.
