B. At the time PFC Clark was Killed In Action the 3rd Infantry Division was conducting combat operations in Eastern France near the German border during January 1945.
C. Hospital Admission Records indicate that PFC Clark was "Not in Medical Installation Prior to Death" and died as a result of "Artillery Shell, Fragments," on or about January 1945.
