PVT Floyd E. Brandfas was born January 15, 1914 in Smith County, Kansas
Son of Joseph H. Brandfas and Myrtle L. Goings Brandfas
And married Mildred I. Pittman McCurry Brandfas in Gem, Idaho, on January 12, 1935.
There were no records found that would indicate Floyd and Mildred had children.
He was inducted into the US Army from Pierce County, Washington,
Enlisting in Seattle on October 23, 1943.
His loss is recorded in the
Washington World War II Honor List of Dead and Missing,
page 12, Pierce County,
published by the War Department in June 1946.

C. Hospital Admission Records indicate that PVT Brandfas died during January 1945, as a result of unknown combat wounds.
