Charles married Ethel Grace Gunnette Biggs in Pierce County on July 19, 1941.

There were no records found that Charles and Ethel had children.

He enlisted into the US Army from Pierce County, Washington on August 2, 1940.

His loss is recorded in the
Washington World War II Honor List of Dead and Missing, page 12, Pierce County,
published by the War Department in June 1946.
