B. His ABMC Form 1, Headstone Inscription And Interment Record, identifies his assigned unit as the 15th Infantry Regiment, 15th Infantry Regiment, date of death as November 9, 1942, Temporary Cemetery as 6525 and Next of Kin as Mrs. Edward Nussbaum Jr., 1234- 16th North, Seattle Wash.

C. At the time 1LT Nussbaum was Killed In Action the 3rd Infantry Division was conducting initial combat operations in North Africa near Casablanca, Morocco during November 1942.
