A. His ABMC Form 1, Headstone Inscription And Interment Record, identifies his assigned unit as the 161st Infantry Regiment, 25th Infantry Division.

B. At the time PVT Weston was Killed In Action the 25th Division was conducting combat operations on the Philippine Island of Luzon during April and May 1945.

C. Hospital Admission Records indicate that PVT Weston died on May 1, 1945, as a result of Artillery Shell Fragments to the upper body and head. He was not in a medical installation prior to death.
