None of these listings are a close match to his Army Serial Number and very few are connected to Washington State.
It is possible that his Army Service Number was not correctly transcribed in the WWII Honor List.

B. The 1940 U.S. Federal Cunsus records that a Clifford Smith was born in about 1918, was living in Mohler Washington with his parents Henry and Lily Smith, was single and had completed his 4th year of High School.
C. His Branch of Service was Army Air Forces based on his grave marker photo.
