PFC Everette Riddle was born January 20, 1920 in Winston County Alabama,
the son of Frank H. Riddle and Laura Lucy Mae Hill Riddle.
He entered the US Army from Winston County, Alabama,
Enlisting at Fort McClellan Alabama on June 4, 1942.
His loss is recorded in the
Alabama World War II Honor List of Dead and Missing,
page 27, Winston County,
published by the War Department in June 1946.
His name is not listed on the American Battle Monuments Commission (ABMC) website.
Note 1: The death location, "Invasion of Sicily" is based on the best information available at this time. In the case of PFC Riddle, this location was not verified by eyewitness statement or U.S. Army After Action Report.
