A. The Find A Grave website grave marker photo shows his assigned unit as the 349th Infantry Regiment, 88th Infantry Division and date of death on April 17, 1945.

B. The location of his unit, the 349th Infantry Regiment, was conducting operations near Monterumici Italy from April 15 to 22, 1945.
