Son of Frank P. and Sadie Phillips Conrow.
There were no records found that would indicate Benjamin was married or had children.

He was inducted into the US Army from Pierce County, Washington,
Enlisting in Butte, Montana on April 8, 1943.

His loss is recorded in the
Washington World War II Honor List of Dead and Missing, page 12, Pierce County,
published by the War Department in June 1946.

Note 1: The death location, "On Leyte" is based on the best information available at this time. In the case of PFC Conrow, this location was verified on:

A. His QMC Form 14, Interment In the Fort Rosecrans National Cemetery document, identifies his assigned unit as Company E, 126th Infantry Regiment, 32nd Infantry Division.

B. At the time PFC Conrow was Killed In Action the 32nd Infantry Division was conducting combat operations on Leyte during December 1944.

C. Hospital Admission Records indicate that PFC Conrow died during December 1944, as a result of combat wounds caused by "Artillery Shell, Fragments."

D. Hospital Admission Records indicate that PFC Conrow was also wounded in January 1944 on New Guinea and returned to duty in March.
