Prisoner of War Medal Authorized for issue to any person who, while serving in any capacity with the Armed Forces, was taken prisoner and held captive after April 5, 1917.
American Defense Service Medal Awarded for service between September 8, 1939 and December 7, 1941 under orders to active duty for a period of 12 months or longer.
Asiatic-Pacific Campaign Medal Awarded for military service with the Asiatic-Pacific Theater between December 7, 1941 and March 2, 1946.
World War II Victory Medal Awarded for military service between December 7, 1941 and December 31, 1946, both dates inclusive.

PFC Chamberlain entered the Army Air Corps at
Fort McCarthur, San Pedro California, Enlisting on July 18, 1940
and his loss is recorded in the
Alabama World War II Honor List of Dead and Missing, page 27, State At Large,
published by the War Department in June 1946.

His name is listed on the American Battle Monuments Commission website.
